# Refund policy

> When HostCloud services are eligible for a refund.

## Eligible for a refund

New shared hosting and WordPress hosting accounts cancelled within 30 days of first purchase are eligible for a refund. Other services aren't covered.

## Not refundable

* Domain registrations, renewals and transfers (paid to the registry when processed)
* SSL certificates
* Software licences (for example, Windows Server or cPanel licences)
* VPS services, including Windows VPS
* Setup fees
* Renewals (refund eligibility applies to the first purchase only)
* Services suspended for abuse or for breaching our Terms of Service

## How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method or, if you prefer, to your HostCloud account credit. Bank and card refunds can take 5–7 business days to appear.
