# Point your domain to HostCloud hosting

> Connect your domain to your HostCloud hosting account so your website and email work.

To make your website and email work on HostCloud hosting, your domain must use HostCloud's nameservers. This guide shows you how to do that, whether your domain is registered with HostCloud or somewhere else.

## HostCloud nameservers

| Nameserver | Value |
| - | - |
| Nameserver 1 | `ns1.mysecurecloudhost.com` |
| Nameserver 2 | `ns2.mysecurecloudhost.com` |
| Nameserver 3 | `ns3.mysecurecloudhost.com` |
| Nameserver 4 | `ns4.mysecurecloudhost.com` |

## Domain registered with HostCloud

**1. Open the domain's nameservers**

In the Client Area, click **Domains** in the top menu. On the domain's row, click the **⋯** menu and choose **Manage Nameservers**.

**2. Use the default nameservers**

Select **Use default nameservers**. These are the HostCloud nameservers above.

**3. Save**

Click **Change Nameservers**.

## Domain registered somewhere else

**1. Log in to your domain provider**

Sign in to the account where your domain is registered and find its nameserver settings.

**2. Replace the nameservers**

Remove the existing nameservers and enter the 4 HostCloud nameservers above.

**3. Save**

Save your changes. Your provider may ask you to confirm.

> [!NOTE]
>
> The change can take up to 24 hours to work everywhere. See [How long DNS propagation takes](/dns/dns-propagation).

## After your domain points to HostCloud

| What | Where |
| - | - |
| cPanel | `https://cpanel.yourdomain.com` |
| Webmail | `https://webmail.yourdomain.com` |

Replace `yourdomain.com` with your own domain.

> [!TIP]
>
> Need cPanel before the domain points to HostCloud? Use the control panel link and server name from your hosting welcome email. HostCloud runs several servers, so the welcome email tells you which one is yours.

## Keep DNS with another provider?

If you use Cloudflare or another DNS provider and want to keep it, don't change the nameservers. Instead, edit the records at that provider. See [Where to edit your DNS](/dns/where-to-edit-dns), or [open a ticket](/support/open-a-ticket) and we'll tell you which records to add.

Still stuck? [Open a ticket](/support/open-a-ticket) with your domain name.
