# Use Webmail

> Read and send your HostCloud email in any web browser, without setting up an app.

Webmail lets you use your email from any browser, on any computer or phone. It's handy when you're away from your own devices, or if you'd rather not set up an email app.

## Log in to Webmail

**1. Open Webmail**

Go to `https://webmail.yourdomain.com`, replacing `yourdomain.com` with your own domain.

**2. Enter your details**

Enter your **full email address** and that email account's password, then log in.

**3. Start using it**

Your inbox opens. If you're asked to choose a webmail app, pick one. You can change it later.

> [!NOTE]
>
> `webmail.yourdomain.com` works once your domain points to HostCloud. Until then, log in to cPanel, open **Email Accounts**, and use the option to check email next to the account. See [Log in to cPanel](/cpanel/log-in-to-cpanel.md).

## Things you can do in Webmail

* **Read, write and organise email:** create folders, search, and move messages.
* **Set up forwarding and auto-replies:** see [Forwarders and autoresponders](/email/forwarders-and-autoresponders.md).
* **Change your email password** from the Webmail settings.
* **Add a signature** to the end of every email you send, from the settings.

> [!TIP]
>
> Using a shared or public computer? Log out when you're done, and don't let the browser save your password.

## Forgot your email password?

Webmail can't reset it for you. Log in to cPanel, open **Email Accounts**, and change the password for that address. See [Create an email account](/email/create-an-email-account.md).

Still stuck? [Open a ticket](/support/open-a-ticket.md) with the email address you're trying to use.
