# What to do after your hosting is set up

> A simple checklist to get your website and email working on HostCloud hosting.

Your hosting account is ready. Follow this checklist to get your website and email up and running. Each step links to a detailed guide.

**1. Find your welcome email**

It has your cPanel username and password, the control panel URL and your server name. See [Find your welcome email and service details](/getting-started/welcome-email-and-service-details.md).

**2. Point your domain to HostCloud**

Your domain must use HostCloud's nameservers for your website and email to work. This can take up to 24 hours. See [Point your domain to HostCloud](/dns/point-domain-to-hostcloud.md).

**3. Log in to cPanel**

cPanel is where you manage your website, email and files. See [Log in to cPanel](/cpanel/log-in-to-cpanel.md).

**4. Build or move your website**

* **New website?** [Install WordPress](/wordpress/install-wordpress.md) in a few clicks.
* **Moving from another host?** We'll move it for free. See [Request a free website migration](/support/request-a-free-migration.md).

**5. Set up email**

[Create email addresses](/email/create-an-email-account.md) on your domain, then [add them to your phone and computer](/email/set-up-email-on-your-devices.md).

**6. Check your SSL certificate**

Your site gets a free SSL certificate automatically, so it opens with `https://`. See [Free SSL with AutoSSL](/ssl/free-autossl.md).

## Protect your account

* **Turn on two-factor authentication** for the Client Area. See [Turn on two-factor authentication](/account/two-factor-authentication.md).
