# Find your welcome email and service details

> Find the login details for your new HostCloud service, and see them again in the Client Area.

When your service is ready, we send you a welcome email with everything you need to start using it. This guide shows you what's in it and where to find it again.

## What's in your welcome email

| Service | What the email includes |
| - | - |
| Shared or WordPress hosting | Control panel URL, server hostname, cPanel username and password |
| Linux VPS | Login details. The username is `root` |
| Windows VPS | Login details. The username is `Administrator` |

Your service is set up automatically as soon as your payment is confirmed, so the welcome email usually arrives straight away.

## Can't find it?

**1. Check your inbox and spam folder**

We send it to the email address on your HostCloud account. Search your inbox, spam and promotions folders for "HostCloud".

**2. See a copy in the Client Area**

Log in to the Client Area, open the account menu (your name, top-right) and choose **Email History**. You'll see the emails we've sent you, including your welcome email.

## See your service details

**1. Open your services**

Click **Services** in the top menu. The **My Products & Services** page lists everything you have with us.

**2. Open the service**

Click a service to see its details, such as its status, next due date and billing cycle. For a VPS, the server panel also shows the **Main IP** and power controls.

> [!TIP]
>
> Keep your welcome email somewhere safe, but don't forward it. It contains passwords. If you've changed a password since, the one in the email won't work any more.
