# Open a support ticket

> Get help from the HostCloud team and get a faster answer.

**1. Go to Open Ticket**

In the Client Area, go to **Support → Open Ticket**, or visit [clients.hostcloud.in/submitticket.php](https://clients.hostcloud.in/submitticket.php).

**2. Choose a department**

* **Technical Support:** websites, email, servers, DNS
* **Billing:** invoices, payments, renewals, refunds
* **Sales:** questions before you buy
* **Abuse:** report spam, phishing or misuse of a HostCloud service

**3. Describe the problem**

Select the related service, write a clear subject, and fill in the details (see below).

**4. Submit and track**

You'll get an email confirmation. Replies appear under **Support → Tickets** and in your inbox. Reply to the email or in the Client Area; both go to the same ticket.

## Get a faster answer

Include:

* The **domain** or **server IP** affected
* **What you were doing**, what you expected and what happened instead
* The **exact error message** or a screenshot
* **When** it started and whether anything changed just before
* Steps you've already tried

> [!WARNING]
>
> Never send passwords in a ticket unless our team specifically asks, and change them afterwards. HostCloud staff will never ask for your card details or OTPs.

## One issue per ticket

Opening one ticket per issue, and replying to the existing ticket rather than opening a new one, keeps your request in one place and avoids delays.
