cPanel is the control panel for your HostCloud hosting. You use it to create email accounts, upload files, manage databases and more. This guide shows you how to log in.

What you need

Your hosting welcome email has everything you need:

1

Open the cPanel address

  • If your domain already points to HostCloud: go to https://cpanel.yourdomain.com, replacing yourdomain.com with your own domain.
  • If it doesn’t yet (for example, you’ve just signed up or you’re moving from another host): use the control panel URL from your welcome email.
Not sure? See Point your domain to HostCloud.
2

Enter your login details

Enter the cPanel username and password from your welcome email, and log in.
3

Find what you need

Use the Search Tools box at the top of cPanel to find any tool quickly, for example Email Accounts or File Manager.

Forgot your cPanel password?

1

Open your hosting service

In the Client Area, click Services in the top menu (page: My Products & Services), then open your hosting plan.
2

Change the password

In the left-hand menu, click Change Password, enter a new strong password, and save.
Use the new password the next time you log in to cPanel.
Your cPanel login controls your whole website and all its email. Use a long password you don’t use anywhere else, and don’t share it. If a developer needs access, change the password when their work is done.

Can’t log in?

Your domain may not point to HostCloud yet, or the change is still spreading. Use the control panel URL from your welcome email instead. See How long DNS changes take to work.
Copy them again from your welcome email, with no extra spaces. If you’ve changed the password since, use the new one, or set a new one as shown above.
Hosting accounts are suspended if a renewal invoice isn’t paid. Pay it from Billing → My Invoices. See Overdue invoices and suspension.
Still stuck? Open a ticket with your domain name and the exact error message.
