A control panel lets you manage websites, email, databases and SSL on your VPS from your browser, without typing commands. HostCloud offers cPanel/WHM and Plesk licences as a paid monthly add-on.
Licence options
Prices depend on the option and are shown on the order form. Indian customers pay GST on top.
Which one? cPanel/WHM is familiar to most hosting users, and the number of accounts is how many separate websites or customers you’ll host. Plesk is a good choice if you want one panel for Linux tools such as WordPress and Docker. For a few sites of your own, a small licence is usually enough.
Add a control panel
On the order form, choose your licence in the Control Panel list. It’s added to your monthly price.
Open your VPS
In the Client Area, click Services in the top menu, then open your VPS.
Change your options
In the left-hand menu, click Upgrade/Downgrade Options. Choose a licence in Control Panel and complete checkout.
[[TODO: whether HostCloud installs the control panel after ordering, or the customer installs it, and how long it takes]]
Install a control panel on a fresh server. Installing one on a server that already runs websites can break them. Each panel also supports only certain operating systems, such as recent AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux or Ubuntu LTS versions. Check before you order, or open a Sales ticket to ask.
The licence is billed every month with your VPS. Licences aren’t refundable. See Refund policy.
Still stuck? Open a Sales ticket and tell us how many websites you plan to host.
