An email address on your own domain, such as sales@yourbusiness.in, looks more professional than a free email address. This guide shows you how to create one in cPanel in a couple of minutes.
You need a HostCloud hosting plan, and your domain must point to HostCloud. Not sure? See Point your domain to HostCloud.
1

Log in to cPanel

Go to https://cpanel.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your own domain). If your domain doesn’t point to HostCloud yet, use the control panel link from your hosting welcome email.
2

Open Email Accounts

Type Email Accounts in the Search Tools box at the top of cPanel and open it.
3

Start a new account

Click Create.
4

Fill in the details

  • Domain: if you have more than one domain, choose the one this address is for.
  • Username: the part before the @, for example sales or priya.
  • Password: choose a strong password, or use the button to generate one. Save it somewhere safe.
  • Storage space: how much space this mailbox can use. Leave the default unless you need to change it.
5

Create the account

Click Create. Your new address is ready to use straight away.

Start using your new email

  • In a browser: go to https://webmail.yourdomain.com and log in with the full email address and its password.
  • On your phone or computer: see Set up email on your phone or computer. To see the exact settings for this account, click Connect Devices next to it in Email Accounts.
Use a different address for each person or role, such as accounts@ and support@. If someone leaves your team, you can change that mailbox’s password without affecting anyone else.
Use a long password that you don’t use anywhere else. Email accounts with weak passwords are often taken over and used to send spam, which can get your emails blocked.
