Choose a VPS server location - HostCloud Knowledge Base

When you order a VPS, you choose where in the world it runs. Picking a location close to your visitors makes your website or app respond faster.

Europe	European Union, United Kingdom
North America	United States (East), United States (Central), United States (West)
Oceania	Australia (Sydney)

You choose the location in Data Center Location on the order form. European Union is included in the plan price. Other locations cost extra each month, and the order form shows the price before you check out.

How to choose

Most visitors in India? Choose Asia (India) for the fastest response.
Visitors across Asia? India or Singapore are good choices.
Visitors in Europe, the US or Australia? Choose the location nearest to most of them.
Using the server only yourself, for example for development? Choose the location nearest to you, or the included European Union location to save money.

Some businesses need to keep customer data in a particular country. Check whether this applies to you before you choose.
